The tranquility of the Nora Glades had departed. The quiet whisper of trickling streams had been replaced with the clamor of feet against soil. The songs of birds had been silenced, in favor of shouts and screams. The gentle breeze dared not to disturb the melee between Protectorate and Wrath. Swords and hammers clashed, rattling the Glade to its very core.

The battles were fierce, as enemies collided in the sanctuary of Nora. The 16 armies were reduced to eight. Neither side would yield to the other. Both would continue fighting. They would fight until they had nothing left. The Nora Glades held endless possibilities. Only one could claim them.

Then, the eight armies were reduced to four. Commander nahoya had taken Commander BleedForMe's forces by storm. Unable to defend, the Wrath commander yielded to his adversary. Commander Glissando had claimed a victory for Wrath, when he defeated Commander RSnow's forces. Another victory was claimed for Wrath, when Commander Leviathan1 struck a devastating blow to Commander Jazin. Seeing the state of the battlefield, Commander razr55 yielded to Commander Brittanico and began a retreat. The tide of battle had shifted and Wrath had taken the day. Only Commander nahoya and his forces stayed.

The tide would take another unexpected turn. Commander Glissando turned his forces against Commander Brittanico. Only one could claim the Nora Glades for Wrath. He would be the one to bring glory. Commander Brittanico put up a worthy defense, despite the fatigue of his soldiers. It didn't take long before his forces folded to Commander Glissando. Commander Brittanico took his remaining forces and retreated. Commander nanhoya's defense against Commander Leviathan1's onslaught faired much better. His soldiers stood steadfast against the waves of Wrath forces. When their attacks began to wane, Commander nahoya ordered a charge on Commander Leviathan1's base camp. Weakened from his offensive, Commander Leviathan1's army succumbed to the attack. Commander nahoya had claimed another victory for the Protectorate.

Of the 16 armies that had entered into the melee for the Nora Glades, only two remained. One Protectorate army, led by Commander nahoya, stood against one Wrath army, led by Commander Glissano. The future of both alliances hung in the air. Only one could claim the fertile haven. Commander Glissano began to skirmish, colliding his forces into Commander nahoya's army. The Protectorate soldiers did well against the first wave, matching each strike. Soon, they began advancing Commander Glissano's defenses. Commander Glissano sent another wave against the invading Protectorate. Commander nahoya's advances slowed, but continued to advance. The Wrath commander continued his assault on the advancing Protectorate force. The losses on boths sides were tremendous. As the remainder of Commander nahoya's forces advanced on Commander Glissano's base camp, the Wrath commander was still fighting strong. Ultimately, the Protectorate would take victory.

Sixteen of the finest Commanders, from Wrath and from Protectorate, led their armies into the Nora Glades. The armies clashed, amidst the serenity of the haven. Despite heavy resistance from Wrath, Commander nahoya took victory for the Protectorate. Thus, the Protectorate had laid their claim on the Nora Glades. The forces of Wrath would not allow the claim to stay unchallenged. They would have to continue their defense, to keep their claim.
