Tournament Time!!!

Hey Team

I am happy to announce that our first ever day tournament will be held this Saturday, 1,19,13. It will begin at 11 am EST. That is 4 pm in London and 8 am in Los Angeles. We want to accommodate as many as we can who wish to play. Sorry for the short notice but I have had some problems with my Pox Guild Messaging. This will be a single elimination bracket style tourney and it will play until done. If you have to leave early, sorry, your out. We do not think it will take that long as I will be making the bracket on the spot and not playing myself so I can organize things. Casper has generously offered to not play to help me and Dutchman will be on the road so he isnâ??t playing but all else, officers or otherwise are welcome. This being the first of its kind we will have a 8 person minimum and a 16 person max. I will be on at 10am EST to start prep work if you want to try to get in early.


There will be prizes for the top two. Winners choice of one of the following, Aspect of Di vanity, Rupture Alpha, Krikkenwing Alpha, and Elven Page.

If this Day tournament is successful and fun it will be a common, perhaps weekly event with even better prizes and different themes.


Deck Requirements.
We want this tourney accessible to as many as possible so for this tourney the following restrictions are in place. Any cheating will cause immediate disqualification and a censure from the next tournament.

Up to 3 Exotics
Full Faction or Split is acceptable.
No Avatar Transformation

Anything else goes. If you donâ??t want to use the warbanner or exotics that is fine also.

Hello Guild

My friends. My Guildmates. My Twisted. Lend me your eyes. First I hope you all had a good holiday and new year. I am happy to report that as the holidays have ended that I and other officers will be back with a vengeance. I had a rare opportunity to spend some real quality time with my wife and son which is uncommon in my hectic life and our other officers have also had important and pressing obligations. We hope you all forgive our absence but I believe in you all and our guild and was not surprised that everyone has stayed so strong and prosperous. Dutchman and I have continued to try to fill orders from TwSa when we could sneak away from our wives and will now be able to monitor them on a daily basis again.

We have always had a strong guild In these past months that I have been helping and the times before when we were led by our great progenitor and current officer Big Toastie/Shallaxy. As of late we have had some trouble completing the contests or tournaments that we have set into action. Casper, Dutchman and I have come up with some ideas for new guild events. Thanks to triple cash and our luck with the tournaments, I am flush with great high end runes that I am itching to give away to you all. One of the problems with our recent tournaments we feel is that they are too long and we have people drop out. I and the other officers completely understand this as your responsibilities in real life should take precedence over the game we love. In fact we believe it is healthy to take a break and step away from time to time. However there are lots of us who do want to compete and have fun. So we are going to have some day tournaments. The first will be in just a few weeks. As an example, we will message a time like Saturday 2pm EST as the tournament start and the prizes available. Then at that time anyone interested in competing will show up in our chat room and I and other officers will create a bracket right then and the play will commence and continue until there is a winner that day. This way those that are interested do not have to devote weeks to trying to get all their games in and finding their opponents. This will not stop us from having the tournaments as regular all out or special theme games as the date will be announced in advance and you can prepare your battle groups. I hope this new initiative works as well as we hope.

I also want to reiterate again how very proud and honored to be in this guild. We have great accomplishments like the second place in the war and our near constant overall rank for some 6 months or more but what really inspires Casper Dutch and I is the warmth and generosity that we see. I feel that we have a great variety of good people in our guild. People of character and honor and I hope you all feel the same. This is only the third guild I have been a part of but I have not seen this level of character before.
Lastly this form of communication has its limitations. We cant use commas and other various punctuation and we are at the mercy of when Pox is properly working. We would also like to be able to have brackets up for you all to see along with other pox related contests. I have always wanted to have a fiction pox related contest and have had a request for an art contest from our guild. We would like to develop a new offsite location that we can use for some of these projects. . Our current one was cool but we quickly found that it could only have 100 members or it would cost us funds. With this in mind I am asking for applicants to be our official Web Master and Tech Support guru. Please message me if you think you have the desire and skills to accept this position. This person will also be an officer and have the privileges that entails.
