WE are in the process of hosting the FIRST EVER DOS GROUND N POUND! A game wide 2x2 random partner tourney. Prizes are legs giving to the 1st and 2nd ranked teams of our little melee.

Expansion 18 and the New DoS Stuffs!

Greetings, All our fellow Dwarves, Grobles, Barbarains and various denizens of the Stronghold!

We all now have a place to drink, share tales of conquests, and swear to their heart's content in the new forums which are not moderated by SoE! Be sure to visit http://defendersofstronghold.guildlaunch.com and register!

Our brand new website! Were moving into Guild Launch, and all the goodies that come along with that! We will have our own Forums & Ventrilo! Make sure you hit the "Apply to Guild" button and well get you sorted and ready to spam the forums.. err. ready for action, LOL.


Something else... Something else.... OH! PDoSArmory is now open too! Thats our DoS Runepool, And I do one-for-one trades on Ironfist Commons, Uncommons, and Rares. Im only concerned about keeping runes in there to make sure everyone can ask for runes and get them without a hassle & I'll make sure I have the new stuffs in there too. Its just between guildies though. ;) Check the Quartermaster Forums for the nitty-gritty details.

And thats just the start! We got lots of kewl stuff in the works for the future, and its only gettin better!

Expansion 18 and the New DoS Stuffs!

Greetings, All our fellow Dwarves, Grobles, Barbarains and various denizens of the Stronghold! It's November 2nd.

So, Here we are... Expansion 18!, Wild Alliance

It seems that Grobles have FINALLY arrived as a competitive battlegroup option. No more will they cower in the shadows, terrified by the destructive power of the attractive Elvish angels and cuddly teddy bears. Soon the factions of Poxanthru will cry out in fear at the mighty awesomeness of the Groble!
...At least for a week or so until the mighty Titan, CorpsE with his trusty NerfHammer strikes, severely weakening them.

But the Groble shall prevail, not because of natural strength and abilities, but because of his determination! All Hail Groble!

If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the Dwarven Engineer! He's got the epic ability of "Build'em Tough" which grants Tough 3 to Construct Champions. And he summons Groble Piledrivers and Mechanical Crabs

And the epic win of Rugolth's Revenge!! aka Skyscrapper McWorldBeater (thanks Contextual) .... It stuns on attack and Its bigger than an Avatar shrine! CorpsE says he set the flavor for the entire expansion.
Ponderous is a bit of a pain but he more than makes up for it with Beefcake.
Also with Essence Capture, Clamp, Pummel 2, and Tremor for Upgrades

The Dwarven Roughneck Is a Monster! 2-5 Range Gun attack, Mountaineer & Combat Awareness, With Stun and Flashbomb. for 73 Nora. Some nice stuff in there.

And the Brutality Barbarian Warrior Foe, Ally: Underdepths and Essence Capture!!! He's pretty good!

Spellwise we got Might of Ironfist Kind a strange spell for us to get, but our champ loses 10 HP, gains +5 Damage and a rank of Pummel for that turn. You should prolly go ahead and put one in your deck upon reading this. >.>

And Gravity Flux which will pull all opposing champs to the target champion by 2 spaces, and thus far is my pic of the expansion. Make space for this spell. If it survives the nerf cries, it will be sitting in your rune dock next to Macadamize, IMO.

Hammerheart Platemail is an equip for Talgar, basicly makes him worth running over Archangel, at the cost of a Runeslot.

We've also been thinking about making being in DoS more awesome. So, Were going to try to make a Tourney. Every. Month. YES! Our first theme tourney will be the "GGROBLE RAMPAGE!" Tourney. FF IS or Splits IS are allowed, and at least 7 of the runes in your BG need to say "Groble" on the rune. This is DoS only, but if you has a buddy, you can ask for an invite. Just make sure you check the "Contests & Tourneys" Forum on the new site. Sign ups start today!
So if you wanna get your mitts on some Whitestone Gargoyles and the new Exo for free, You just need to make a Groble Deck... *cough* GGROBLE DECK! and play to win.
