General Information

Dawn of Elements Release Notes

GENERAL

  • Introduced the new Elemental Plateau map
  • Improved the /who command. The /who command now provides a link to observe the game of the person you looked up if their game is observable.
  • The numbers 1-9 now activate the 1st through 9th activated abilities for the currently selected champion.

WEB

  • A new Player Rewards system has been introduced
  • A streamlined Rune Forge has been introduced
  • The Rune Crafter has been discontinued
  • Added a new media page featuring game play videos and screenshots
  • All logins are now secure by default.

FIXES

  • Adjusted Nora Fonts on the Broodpits map to be more balanced
  • Immobile units will no longer engage other units
  • Attempting to attack a non-champion with a unit with Skirmisher will now give a specific error message
  • Fixed an issue where a Clay Form would turn invisible when taking the form of a champion with Shadowspawn
  • Added missing unit condition descriptions to Fiddle, Meddle, and Tamper
  • Fixed an error that could occur when multiple Block/Riposte triggers went off on the same attack
  • Surge abilities no longer count the champion that has the ability.
  • Fixed an issue where champions who were Pacified would take damage when moving away from a unit with Bind
  • Champions with Ice Eater should no longer be affected by things that aren't supposed to affect non-Arctic Champions
  • Tunnel: Snow now shows the correct targeting grid
  • Blood Balls from Bleed will no longer stack on top of other Blood Balls

SINGLE PLAYER

  • Added walkthroughs for every faction in the Trainings Grounds lobby
  • Added two "Beginner Battle" campaigns in the Training Grounds and Single Player lobbies
  • AI now properly understands the limitations of Skirmisher (formerly Flesheater)

ARTWORK

  • Corrected scale issues for: Dwarven Handler, Weaponsmith, Ethereal Priestess, Half Skeezick, Night Watch, Battlemage, Armorer, Ironfist Collector, Dwarven Sharpshooter, Dwarven Axe Guard, Battlerager, Drunken Thug, Priest of Valdac & dwarven defender.
  • Corrected an issue with the Shielded condition not displaying smoothly on large champions
  • Updated the visual effect for Attack: Magical
  • The in game artwork for various Dwarves have been tweaked in size

ABILITY CHANGES

Antagonize
  • description changed...
    NEW: Target champion within 2 spaces can only target and attack this champion for the next 2 rounds.
    OLD: Target champion can only target and attack this champion for the next 2 rounds.
  • Antagonized now correctly is removed from a champion when the Antagonizing Champion dies
  • You can no longer Antagonize a Champion that is already being Antagonized
  • Now has a range of 2 instead of 3.
Boon of the Undead
  • description changed...
    NEW: This champion has Immunity - Disease, 60% Poison resistance, and Fearless. Whenever this champion recovers a Nora globe, you gain an additional 20% Nora.
    OLD: This champion has Immunity - Disease, Immunity - Poison, and Fearless. Whenever this champion recovers a Nora globe, you gain an additional 20% Nora.
Chain Lightning
  • description changed...
    NEW: Target champion takes 11 Electricity damage, then each opposing unit within 2 spaces of the target takes 7 Electricity damage, then each opposing unit within 2 spaces of those champions takes 4 Electricity damage (a single champion may not take more than one instance of damage from this effect).

Elemental Fortitude

Knockback
  • Knockback mechanic handled differently. If a unit would be moved into a chasm as a result of a knockback and the unit has AP and is not Stunned, it now will spend all of it's AP in order to prevent the knockback into the chasm.
Mobility
