General Information

GENERAL

  • Introducing new Angel champions.
    • Eight new Angel champions, one for each faction.
    • Angels will be avialable in special Angel Packs for $14.99. The packs include three Ancient Awakenings boosters in addition to one garuaunteed Angel rune.
    • The new Angels are not currently available in Ancient Awakenings booster packs.
    • The new Angels are can not currently be viewed in the Single Rune Store. However, they can still be viewed in the Rune Manager once they are a part of your collection.
    • The new Angels belong to the same rune group. This means a player may only have two of the new Angel runes in their Battle Group at any time. This is specific to these eight new Angels. Players can still have other champions with the race Angel in their builds such as Avenging Angels and Pox Harbingers.
    • Several new abilities have been introduced via the new Angels...
      • Aerial Supremacy - This unit gets +10 ATK and +10 DEF when attacking or being attacked by a non flying unit.
      • Dread - Enemy champions get -1 to ATK and -1 to DMG when this champion is in play. This effect does not stack.
      • Fascinate - At the beginning of your turn, any enemy champion without Iron Will within 5 spaces of this unit is moved 2 spaces directly towards this unit.
      • Gift of Fertility - Abilities that create units that are on your champions have their cooldowns decreased by 1 (to a minimum of 1). This does not stack.
      • Grand Entrance - When this unit enters play, the closest enemy champion is Awestruck for 3 turns.
      • Intensify - After being in play for 5 rounds this unit gains +2 range, +4 ATK, +3 DEF, +2 DMG, is fully healed, cleansed and loses this ability.
      • Mystic Push - While this unit is in play, the spell presence of champions you control is increased by one and champions your enemy controls have their spell presence decreased by one.
      • Perseverance - When this champion would be destroyed, it loses Perseverance and its current health is set to 1 and it gains Invulnerable, Impenetrable, and Shielded until end turn.
      • Prepared - This unit is impervious for the first 2 rounds it is in play.
      • Punish - When this unit deals damage to a champion, that champion loses all AP and takes damage equal to the AP lost this way.
      • Restore - When this unit enters play, all spaces return to their original terrain type.
      • Stab - This champion makes a close-combat physical attack against target adjacent champion.
      • Trail: Crystal - When this champion moves off of a space, that space becomes a Crystal (This space is Inaccessible) until the end of the next turn.
      • Trail: Hallowed Ground - Any space this champion occupies becomes Hallowed Ground for 3 turns.
  • Introduction of the new Angels Descend paid campaign.

FIXES

  • Fixed an issue where the illusions from Projection would not be destroyed when the unit with Projection dies
  • The DEF debuff from Withering Fern is now permanent and not removed when the Withering Fern is removed
  • Threads of Ice will break on application if put on an Unstoppable champion
  • Crystallize will break on application if put on an Unstoppable champion
  • The Moga spawned by Disperse are now considered to be Summoned
  • Fixed an issue where Bravery was not correctly being applied in some cases
  • Fixed an issue preventing Habitation and Encroached from correctly giving bonuses
  • Fixed an issue where Ice Carved Greaves was not gaining it's appropriate ATK bonus on the attack ability.
  • Hunter: Hero will no longer give a bonus when attacking/being attacked by a unit with Planar Instability.
  • Illusions now are counted as Heroes if the original unit had hero (fixing an issue where you could Take Form of an Illusion of Grimlic)
  • The last campaign of Grimlic's Descent will no longer disperse your Avatar if it is Avatar form.

Drive

    NEW: Target champion you control within 4 spaces loses 2 HP and gains +2 DMG and +1 SPD until end of turn and regains 1 AP. A champion who has been Driven can not be the target of Drive by this or any other unit with Drive until the next turn. (HP loss cannot be prevented.)
    OLD: Target champion you control within 4 spaces loses 2 HP and gains +2 DMG and +1 SPD until end of turn and regains 1 AP. This ability may only be used once per target per turn. (HP loss cannot be prevented.)

Nora Leech
